Why a trade fair on energy?

A high-speed roller door offers a great deal of added value to a company when energy saving is concerned. The door is fast, safe and in addition always closes on a timer. This means that the entrance is always closed unless someone or something must go through the opening. This also means that there is no unnecessary loss of heat (or air conditioning). A Novo Speed Flex, the most recent new development from Novoferm, was on display at the stand. This high-tech door has all the modern features, including an opening speed of 2 metres per second and an active light curtain as a safety side mechanism. Furthermore, this door is equipped with a flexible bottom edge that is completely telescopic and auto-correcting.

The Novo Speed Flex is equipped with the latest BEA sensor, the Condor.
This combination sensor unites 2 techniques: active infrared (security) and motion detection. Not only does this sensor ensure the operation of the door, but at the same time, the entrance is completely secured by the automatic closure mechanism.

The polar bear is the international icon for the results of global warming. That is why the door panel of the high-speed roller door at the stand had been decorated with polar bears, and why a giant plush polar bear was placed at the centre of the stand. The trade fair organisers came to assess our stand on the first day. According to them, we had completely achieved our mission.

All in all, a successful trade fair, which will probably grace our trade fair calendar again next year.
